Terra Tech Förderprojekte e.V. is a non-profit-making non-governmental organization, which is dedicated at development aid and humanitarian aid. Terra Tech was founded in 1986 by citizens from Wetzlar and Marburg (Hesse). The focal points of Terra Tech are needy persons in development- and newly industrialized countries which are disadvantaged by wars, natural disasters and global/social inequality.

Activities and aims

Over the years the activities of Terra Tech adjusted increasingly. The association accomplish:

  • Basic supply (e.g. food aid and medical supply)
  • Reconstruction aid (e.g. of schools and hospitals, with water and bathroom facilities)
  • Education and further education (e.g. in medical and social jobs)
  • Handicapped help (e.g. by the delivery of wheel chairs)
  • Terra Tech is aided by members, donors, foundations, the Cabinet of Germany and partner organizations. Since the foundation more than 200 projects have been realized in over 45 countries in Africa, Asia, South America, Middle- and Far East as well as in Eastern Europe.
