Early life
Maria was born Sissoko Mariam in ivory coast and spent her early childhood in Agnibilekrou, cote d'ivoire. She had her basic education at App Ecole plateaux 3 and proceeded to the Lycee moderne d'agnibilekrou where she became the Entertainment Prefect. Maria furthered her studies in Abidjan where she studied Acting in Hollywood Academy in ivory coast.
TV career
Maria was practicing Hollywood academy until she relocated to Ghana to follow her dreams of becoming a Television personality. She made her debut on Television as the host of WatsUp TV French version of the entertainment show, which saw her interview many celebrities in French like Reggie Rockstone, Castro , Bisa Kdei , Akoo Nana , Trigmatic , Tiny , Kojo Antwi and Prince David Osei in Ghana . She is currently the host for a new TV show WatsUp TV #Top10Francovibes which is aired across Africa .

Her big break came two years later in the "Extreme obsession" Ever since Terena Maria has become a household name in abidjan .
