Plot summary

Based on the Brothers Grimm story of "Snow-White and Rose-Red", this novel tells the story of 15-year-old motherless Liga, abused by her father, and pregnant with her second child - the first being forcibly miscarried. As she attempts to take her own life she is transported to a magical place, a haven from the real world where she is safe from threat. But the membrane separating her new world from her old begins to rupture.
