Telegrafo is one of 29 barangays or villages in the municipality of San Jose, Camarines Sur in the Philippines.

Etymology
The name of the place was derived from the Spanish word "telegrafista" which means a talkative person or one who spreads the news to the people. Accordingly, there was a "telegrafista" who lived in this place and resides in a stone tower to watch over the attacks of the Moros. Because of his work, he protected the natives from such attacks, thus, the name of place was derived from the term "telegrafista" in his honor.
Geography and Demographics
Barangay Telegrafo is classified as a rural place and is composed of 6 puroks or zones. It is generally described as plain and coastal with a total land area of 15.234 square kilometers. It is bounded to the north by Manzana, south by Calalahan, east by Lagonoy Gulf, and in the west by Tambangan-Calalahan. Its major source of livelihood is agriculture (farming and fishing). It has a total population of 1,567 with 293 households, 295 families, and 829 registered voters.
Government
Elected barangay officials are as follows: Jojie Y. Pilapil- Punong Barangay and the barangay councilors are: Andy S. Balaye, Ernie Z. Villareal, Roger A. Peña, Jojo M. Laurenciano, Eddie P. Pejo, Ken P. Sigales Sr., and Lotis P. Porteza. The appointed barangay secretary , treasurer and Bookkeeper are: Shenie Aira A. Remorozo, Michale P. Sigales, and Doris A. Teoxon, respectively. Barangay personnel include 20 barangay tanod, 10 barangay health workers, 1 Librarian, 1 Day Care Worker, and 4 Utility Workers.
