Teenage Book Club was a primetime television series on the American Broadcasting Company which premiered on 27 August 1948. It was a discussion program about books for teenagers which aired Fridays at 8:00pm ET.
Production history
The series was a huge failure, lasted just two months. In fact, very few of ABC's shows during this time made much of an impact, with only Break the Bank making enough impact to be mentioned in several history books.
