Edward Alfred George 'Teddy' Ware (17 September 1906 – September 1976) was an English football wing half, best remembered for his time in the Football League with Clapton Orient and Brentford.

Chatham Town
Ware began his career at Kent League side Chatham Town in 1925, winning the first silverware of his career in the 1926–27 season, with the Chats bringing home the division title. He departed the club in March 1928.
Brentford
Ware and Chatham Town teammate Len Ramsell earned moves to Division Three South side Brentford in March 1928. Ware quickly became a first team regular at wing half and his never-say-die attitude won him plaudits from the Brentford supporters. Ware was also a part of the team which was promoted as champions to Division Two in the 1932–33 season. Ware departed Griffin Park in the summer of 1933, having made 102 appearances for the club.
Clapton Orient
Ware signed for Division Three South side Clapton Orient in August 1933 and made 106 league appearances for the club, scoring three goals.
Swindon Town
Ware had a short spell at Division Three South side Swindon Town during the 1936–37 season, making five appearances.
Crewe Alexandra
Ware joined Division Three North side Crewe Alexandra in 1937, making league 62 appearances for the club before the breakout of the Second World War in 1939 brought his career to an end.
