Ted Dhanik is the cofounder and president of engage:BDR. Dhanik holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from California State University, Hayward. He has over fifteen years professional experience in business sales, marketing, and business development. After spending 1997 working in inside sales for Beyond.com/Software.net, he spent a year with Atesto Technologies as Director of Sales before becoming Director of Business Development at Xoriant Corporation.
He then moved on to Nextag.com for one year, focusing first on lead generation programs, then helping to launch the consumer lending verticals there. He next joined LowerMyBills.com to build and grow consumer lending products, starting with the home equity product to directly compete with LendingTree.
Dhanik worked at LowerMyBills for the next four years and eight months, again in business development, before moving on to Myspace, where he served for over five years as "VP of Fun /Strategic Marketing,” building most of the company's launch and offline strategies.
