Manjeet Singh Ral (born 24 January 1985 in Bradford, England), better known by his stage-name Manj Musik, is an Indian singer, songwriter and music producer. He was the former lead vocalist and music composer for the bhangra music group RDB which he formed with his two brothers, Surjeet Singh and Kuljeet Ral in 2000.

Later after the death of his older brother Kuljeet Ral, Manj Musik decided to split from the group and keep the name of RDB in the legacy of his brother. Beginning his solo career in 2014, Manj Musik began producing his own singles and has also begun to produce music in Bollywood, and has worked with established actors such as Saif Ali Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar amongst others. In 2017, his son, who goes by his stage name Noopsta, dropped his first single named "You Can’t Stop The Party" featuring popular desi hip hop artists Raftaar and Humble the Poet.

History

He started his musical journey with RDB group singing at the gurudwara, he used to assist his father with his brothers in performing in front of the community at their local gurudwara. This gave him a great understanding of musical creativity. He actually got involved in music because of his brother Kuljeet Ral (Kuli Paji). He used to sit day and night and watch his brother messing with software and machines.
