Techvibes is an online Canadian technology hub for industry news, long read features, events and jobs. It primarily covers businesses ranging from startups to established firms. Techvibes was founded in 2002 by President and Editor-in-Chief Rob Lewis and is based in Vancouver, Canada. In June of 2016, Techvibes was acquired by technology consulting firm, Konrad Group.

Techfest
Techfest is a recruiting event for digital companies hosted by Techvibes. The first Techfest launched in Vancouver in 2013 and is now held in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Ottawa. Past participating companies include Microsoft, Hootsuite, Shopify, Amazon and Wattpad.
Canadian Startup Awards
Canadian Startup Awards is an annual awards show “Celebrating Canada’s best and brightest in the tech space” that was launched by Techvibes in 2011. For the first five years, the Canadian Startup Awards existed only online. On March 2nd, 2017 Techvibes hosted the first live awards in Toronto, Ontario. Eleven categories were awarded in 2017 including Startup of the Year, Social Impact, VC Firm of the Year. Notable past award recipients include Shopify, a publicly-traded company based in Ottawa, and Hootsuite, a private company also based in Vancouver.
