Team Karim is the nickname used by Guinean singer and actor Karim Diane. After competing in The X Factor USA, Karim gained popularity online under the name Team Karim by releasing videos of himself singing duets in the shower. With over a half million online followers, Karim drove traffic to an IndieGogo campaign which successfully sent $1 million worth of medical supplies to West Africa. Karim was featured on AOL in a show entitled 'Generation Inspiration' which documented stories of young kids who are changing the world using technology.

After a series of short films, in early 2017 Karim landed his first recurring role in the 2nd season of a television show entitled StartUp (TV series) starring Adam Brody, Martin Freeman, and Edi Gathegi. StartUp is an American television series distributed by Sony Pictures and created by Ben Ketai. The second season will stream for free in fall 2017 on Crackle (company).
