Redmann's first big movie role was in the science fiction film Chameleon 3: Dark Angel in 2000, and since then she has had roles in a few other movies, such as Double Teamed. Redmann is best known for her role as Louise Grant in the television series Gilmore Girls. She has also appeared on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as Jim Brass's daughter Ellie, CSI: Miami and Boston Public. In 2002, she portrayed the character of Nicky Williams (with black hair) in the Disney Channel movie Double Teamed.
