Tarun Chandra Pame Gam is known for several works. Xetu (Assamese:সেতু) is a radio play of his which won national awards. Mising Xokolor Loko Git is a book of his written on the folk music of the Misings.

Life

Tarun Chandra Pame Gam was born in the village Borganya No 2 under the sub-division Majuli (then) in the district of Sivasagar (then) in the year 1928. He was the eldest son of Budhbor Pame Gam. and he died in the year 1986.
