Tanzi station

Tanzi Station (Chinese: 潭子車站; pinyin: Tánzi Chēzhàn) is a railway station on the Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) Western Line (Mountain Line) located in Tanzi District, Taichung City, Taiwan. The station was once the eastern terminal for the now defunct TRA Shengang Line. The current station is located on ground level. As part of the elevatization process of the Western Line, a new elevated Tanzi Station is currently under construction and will open on March 29, 2016. As a result, one of the two island platforms are closed. It will be served by the Taichung Metro Red Line.
