Tankus the Henge are a British band based in London, playing music that draws influence from rock 'n roll, Gypsy jazz and Romani music, Balkan music, ragtime, New Orleans music, and ska.
Contents
The band was a PRS for Music featured artist in 2010, and in 2011 was named by Metro as one of their "Top 10 Acts To See" at Glastonbury Festival. Other festivals that the band has performed at include the Wickham Festival and Isle of Wight Festival. In 2016 the band will be performing at Chilled in a Field Festival.
In 2012, the group appeared on an album commemorating the 2012 London Olympics.
