Biography

Tamar was trained in the Rimon music school at Tel Aviv. While attending the school she met Ariel Horowitz whom she later married. In 2000 she debuted her first album, Haahava Meta (Love is dead). The album contained seven songs, including the hit song "Haahava Meta" which was written and composed by Ariel Horowitz.

In 2003, Tamar released her second album, Gan Horfi (winter garden). In 2008, She released her third album "Soug shel varod" (kind of pink). The album consists entirely of songs composed by the poet Lea Aini.

In 2011, Tamar released her fourth album "Blue leNaomi" (Blues for Naomi), an album dedicated to the songs of Naomi Shemer, her mother-in-law that died in 2004. The album's songs retained the classic blues style of Shemer.
