Tales From Serpentia is the fourth album from the German progressive metal band Tomorrow's Eve. It is the band's third release for the Lion Music label. The album features a number of creative aspects not yet attempted by the band. Tales From Serpentia is also the second full-length album to feature newly appointed Mekong Delta singer Martin LeMar.
Contents
The album, in general, received very positive reviews, despite the fact that the latest work of the band has been considered by many as dark and frightening. Even though Tomorrow's Eve fans described the album as something the band has not attempted before, Tales From Serpentia is said to be a very standard progressive metal album. For the first time the band produced an album that bares a concept, that connects a number of completely independent stories, which deal with various troubles of everyday life, such as grief, drug abuse and violence. The album also features a number of songs that start with a spoken part by a random person or a group of people, discussing the problems these people are dealing with at the moment.
