Takayuki Masuda (増田 崇之, Masuda Takayuki) is a Japanese businessman. He was the CEO of Gaba Corporation from 2012 to 2015. He was previously the managing director of Nichii Gakkan.

Education

In 1990 Masuda graduated from the faculty of commerce at Waseda University.

Career

In 1990, after graduation he joined Saitama Bank (which as Saitama Resona Bank is now part of Resona Bank).

In December 1997 Masuda joined Healthy Life Service Company Limited, which merged with Nichii Gakkan in 1999. From December 2005 he was the assistant to the general manager of the Business Operations Department of the Business Planning Division. From April 2006 he became the general manager of the Corporate Planning Office of the Corporate Planning Division.

In April 2008 he became general manager of the Corporate Planning Division and the Corporate Planning Office, and in June 2008 he became a director of the company. He was managing director and chief director of the education business from April 2011 until he joined Gaba.

After Nichii Gakkan's acquisition of the English conversation school Gaba, Masuda joined in December 2011 as Vice President and Representative Director. He became President and CEO succeeding Bruce Anderson on March 26, 2012. He was succeeded by Masatoshi Saito on April 1, 2015.
