Taivala is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders) with only one species, Taivala invisitata. It is endemic to Sarawak, Borneo. Males have not yet been found. The genus is thought to be closely related to Pseudamycus. The female epigyne was drawn by Proszynski (1984).
