TCA Raghavan is an Indian diplomat. Raghavan is a 1982 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service. He has considerable experience in dealing with Pakistan, including heading the Joint Secretary the Division of the Ministry of External Affairs in Pakistan Afghanistan and Iran (PAI) division.From June 6, 2013 till his retirement on December 31, 2015 Raghavan was High Commissioner (Commonwealth) of India to Pakistan.
TCA Raghavan holds a PhD in history from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Raghavan was the Indian high commissioner to Singapore till June 2013. After that, Raghavan was appointed high commissioner of India to Pakistan. Earlier, Raghavan was deputy high commissioner in Islamabad (2003-2007). His previous overseas postings include United Kingdom (1995-1998), Bhutan (1992-1995) and Kuwait (1983-1986).
Dr. Raghavan is married to Ranjana Raghavan. They have two daughters.
