Szalmia [ˈʂalmja] (German Schalmey) is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Płoskinia, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Płoskinia, 11 km (7 mi) south of Braniewo, and 70 km (43 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
