DJ Sytronik, (real name Alexander Ridge) was born on 7 May 1986, South Benfleet, Essex UK. He is an established DJ/record producer in the UK hardcore music scene. Sytronik has risen to notable statue within the Hardcore scene due to his affiliation with Slipmatt and is known in most circles as "The Godson"; a play on the nickname of Slipmatt which is "The Godfather". Sytronik can often be seen Djing at events around the country with Slipmatt and also MC Spenno.
Sytronik is also known as a producer within the scene and often co-produces tracks with Sparky, a North London-based producer. Most recently the pair have contributed tracks for the recently released Helter Skelter vs Raindance Hardcore 2007 album.
Sytronik and Sparky have also become established producers in the Scouse House music scene under the name Sound Selektaz.
