The Synotaxidae are a spider family with 68 described species in 13 genera. It has been proposed that the family be limited to the Synotaxinae, with the Pahorinae and Physogeleninae placed in a separate family, Physogelenidae, although as of October 2016 this has not been accepted by other sources.
