Synapse Product Development is a new product development (NPD), product design, and technology development consultancy company headquartered in Seattle, Washington, USA, with offices in San Francisco, California, Orlando, Florida and Hong Kong. In 2016, Synapse was acquired by Cambridge Consultants, a product development firm out of Cambridge, England. Cambridge Consultants is part of the Altran group and has locations in Boston, Singapore, Japan, and India. Synapse offers complete product development consulting from prototype to new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing. Synapse provides electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, RF design, program management and global sourcing services. Synapse was co-founded in 2001 by Scott Bright and current CEO, Ross Collins. It is a privately held company.
