biography
Syed Rahim Moshiri was born in 1930 in Semnan,He died age of 85 in Tehran. He spent elementary education in Hedayat school in semnan. He spent high school through fifth grade in pahlavi and dehkhoda high school and sixth period in mirafzali high school. He was entered to study at undergraduate to Tehran university in 1953. Dr moshiri spent PHD of geography at the university of Freiburg in Germany. He was succeeded to obtating PHD in 1966. Dr moshiri worked as assistant professor of Geography in Freiburg university in Germany, then returned to iran and was assistant professor of Geography department of university of Tehran in 1967. He was associate in 1975. He achieved the rank of professor at Tehran University in 1993. He was introduced as a sample professor of the country in 2006. Dr moshiri has assumed various executive responsibilities, during the serving at tehran university in addition to teaching defferent lessons at the undergraduate, masters and phd, Including : Executive and financial management of faculty of literature and humanities, Management of the Geography department, director of the Institute of Geography, Editorial Glossy geography studies the development of Tehran University.

The Doctor Moshiri have remained several books and articles and lectures. He was the supervisor professor of more than 30 PhD thesis at Tehran University Islamic Azad University. He was also supervisor professor of more than 200 master's thesis in the various universities. He has worked as associate member of the academy of sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran Since 1370, And was director of the academy of geography. He died age of 85 in 2014.
