Sydney "Syd" Hynes is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s, and 1970s, and coached in the 1970s, and 1980s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Leeds (Heritage № 1000), as a centre, i.e. number 3 or 4, and coaching at club level for Leeds. As of December 2016 Syd Hynes lives in Willagee, Western Australia.
