Format

The 28 teams of the Juniorallsvenskan are divided into two groups. The winners and second-placed teams of Juniorallsvenskan Norra and Södra meet in semi-finals, where the winner of the one group meets the runner-up of the other group in a one-leg match. The two semi-final winners meet each other in the final to decide the Swedish under-19 champion.

Players are eligible to play if they are at most 19 years old on the 31 December of the season year.
