Swede Mason is a British musician and video editor who gained fame for the 2011 mashup "Masterchef Synesthesia" (also known as "Buttery Biscuit Bass") which was released in the United Kingdom and reached No. 37 in the UK Singles Chart.

The song itself is based on voice samples by hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode from MasterChef; both Wallace and Torode have spoken out in favour of the track. The associated YouTube video gained over 9 million views and was described by The Guardian as a "masterpiece of editing". Swede Mason claims that the video took him around a year to complete. He is also famous for a mashup of Jeremy Clarkson beatboxing, which has had over 3 million views on YouTube.
