Swamiji (born on November 6, 1969 as Raghu Raj Raja) is the foremost disciple of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.He was born in Trichur, Kerala State in South India, to KVK Thampuran (Cochin Royal Family) and Indira Varma as a prince into the erstwhile. Swamiji holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calicut. Swami Sadyojathah is the present director of the NGO Art Of Living founded by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

He is a senior faculty of the Art of Living Breathing Programs which helps in coping up with the stresses of daily life.He has been instrumental in setting up of Foundation’s activities in South-East Asia, Russia, Korea, Mongolia and Japan.He is also the Founder Director of the Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research, a unique center of Excellence in India for Ayurveda, The ancient Indian system of healing and medication. He has been deeply involved in social work in India and Sri Lanka. He played a major role in promoting peace and harmony in war affected areas of Sri Lanka He led the core team of Art of Living volunteers for providing trauma relief and counseling after the devastating Indian ocean tsunami of 2004. Swamiji also took the trauma relief program for Sri Lankan Cricket team after the terror attack in Pakistan. Swamiji took this program as instructed by Sri Lankan Sports ministry For several years, He was actively involved in finding a resolution of the internal conflict in Sri Lanka, working closely with the Sri Lankan government, governmental and non-governmental bodies across the world and providing succor to the affected peoples in the country.Swami Sadyojathah played a major role in coordinating many events which got Guinness book of records. Swami Sadyojathah serves the role of spokesperson of Art Of Living Foundation and is a noted media figure.
