Swalcliffe Park School is a non-maintained day and boarding special school for boys, located in the village of Swalcliffe in the Cotswolds, near Banbury, Oxfordshire.
Founded in 1965, the school caters for boys with autism between the ages of 11 and 19. All places are funded by local education authorities from across the UK, either for a full 52 weeks or for a 38 week school year on a day, two weekly or termly boarding basis. Today the school has 40 boys, including 13 boys in the 6th form.
The school is recognised nationally as a "confident, outward looking centre of excellence" for students with autism, and has been consistently rated as "outstanding" by Ofsted. Swalcliffe Park School is run by the Swalcliffe Park School Trust, which is a registered charity. It is situated in Swalcliffe Park, a former stately home originally built in the 16th century and remodeled in the 18th century.
