Suzanne A. Rogers is a Canadian philanthropist who focuses on charities which improve the lives of children in Canada and internationally.

Summary

Rogers regularly appears in runway shows in Paris, London, New York and Toronto. She was featured along with her daughter in the 2013 Flare’s Icons issue, showcasing the 50 most stylish Canadians of all time. She funds the $25,000 Suzanne Rogers Award for Best New Label at the Toronto Fashion Incubator's annual gala.

Charity work

Rogers hosts "Suzanne Rogers Presents" – signature events in Toronto, which support children’s charities.

The inaugural event, which was attended by designer Oscar de la Renta, took place April 2010 and raised more than $750,000. In April 2011 it was Marchesa, with the label putting on its first runway show in years. Both Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig attended the gala which raised $925,000. In April 2014, Rogers brought Zac Posen to Toronto for his first runway show in Canada, raising $800,000.

Rogers is involved with Boost Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention, and has helped raise over a million dollars through direct donations. She has also served as honorary chair of its annual Butterfly Ball for the last three years.

Fashion industry involvement

She is the chair of the editorial board of Canadian Fabric, a national non-profit magazine focused on the cultural fabric of Canada, and has a regular column in S- Style & Fashion, a quarterly luxury lifestyle magazine.

Rogers is also on the judging panel for the annual Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards.
