In May 1977 elections were held for County Councils in England, including Surrey County Council. Shown below are the results for the Guildford electoral divisions of Surrey County Council.

The 1977 Surrey County Council elections saw the Conservatives gain three electoral divisions in the Guildford Borough Council area. Labour lost both Guildford North and Guildford West. The Liberals lost Guildford South. The Conservatives won all nine of the Guildford seats.

The Conservatives contested all nine electoral divisions. Labour contested six, the same number they contested in 1973. The Liberals contested five seats, two more than in 1973.

There was only one candidate in the Horsleys electoral division and one candidate in the Shere electoral division, who were consequently both elected unopposed.
