Sumit Sambhal Lega (English: Sumit Will Handle It) was an Indian sitcom television series which premiered on 31 August 2015 on STAR Plus. The series is the Hindi adaptation of Warner Bros.' Everybody Loves Raymond. The channel has acquired the rights to the official adaptation of the sitcom.

Steve Skrovan, who was a writer on the original series, was part of the team transforming the remake for India.

Rajesh Devraj headed the unique Writer's Room, which was a first for India.
Arshad Sayed, Chirag Mahabal and Sumit Roy wrote the Hindi scripts.
The Channel ran the Best of Sumit Sambhal Lega at the same time slot till January 30. The channel is also getting requests by the fans of the show for second season. The show also got rating of 9.1 on imdb which is higher than the rating of the original show (Everybody Loves Raymond). It was replaced by a daily soap named Tamanna.

Plot

The show revolves around the life of Sumit (Namit Das) who lives with his family at D-124, Greater Kailash in Delhi. Whiny and flippant, Sumit does not take many things seriously, making jokes in nearly every situation, no matter how troubling or problematic they are. He often avoids responsibilities around the house and with his kids, leaving them to his wife. Many times Sumit gets caught for his mischievous activities. In the end, his brother Rajneesh gets married to his girlfriend, successfully, after much trouble, and begins to live in the 3rd floor of Sumit's home.
