Life
Shazada Muhammad Sulaiman Shikoh Bahadur was born 15 March 1635 to Prince Dara Shikoh and His First wife Shazadi Nadira Banu Begum. His mother was a Mughal Princess and daughter of Shazada Muhammad Parviz and Shazadi Iffat Jahan Begum. He was also the first grandchild of 43 years old The Emperor Shah Jahan. He was the son of heir apparent in 1642. He was also first cousin of Zeb-un-Nissa, the Eldest Daughter of His Uncle Aurangzeb. His paternal aunts Jahanara Begum and Roshanara Begum and Gauharara Begum and Paternal Uncles Shah Shuja, Aurangzeb, He was called his grandfather of Shazada I "PotaMiya". Sulaiman Shikoh had was siblings was Two Brothers and Four Sisters among his closed was Only Javeda un nissa.
Personal life
On 14 April 1654, He married Anup Kanwar, daughter of Amar Singh of Nagaur, son of Raja Gaj Singh. On 16 August 1656, He married Munwar bai,princess of Marwar(Jodhpur State) at Jodhpur.

Death
In 1659,his father was executed by aurangzeb,who was later buried in humayun tomb. Sulaiman shikoh, Who had sought shelter with the ruler of Garhwal was handed over by him to Aurangazeb on imminent threat of invasion,was also soon executed by Aurangazeb. He was buried in traitor's cemetery in Gwalior, where his uncle Murad was also buried.
