Success Preparatory Academy is a charter school in New Orleans, Louisiana. It serves students from Kindergarten through the 8th grade. The school's hallways are named after local leaders including chef John Besh, educational pioneer Ruby Bridges, and musician Irvin Mayfield. Mayfield gave a performance at the school's library. Success Preparatory Academy is located at 2011 Bienville Street in Tremé.
Success Prep was founded in 2009. It was cofounded by St. Claire Adriaan and Niloy Gangopadhyay. Adriaan left to join IDEA Public Schools in Texas in 2013.
Success Preparatory Academy has had building issues and the school uses partitions to divide classrooms. It has been rated a C school for 2012-2013 after being rated an F school in 2011-2012. Two student were expelled for smoking marijuana on its campus at the end of 2013.
