Strimko


Strimko is a PC and Mac puzzle game developed by Braintonik which was originally created by The Grabarchuk Family. It is based on an idea of Latin squares described by the mathematician Leonhard Euler in the 18th century.

Overview

The goal of the game is to fully fill in the given grid (3x3 up to 7x7) with missing numbers observing three simple rules.

Rule #1 Each row must contain different numbers.

Rule #2 Each column must contain different numbers.

Rule #3 Each stream must contain different numbers.

PC and Mac Version

There are two main modes (story, and classic) with 220 levels to play. The story mode is about helping Luana rebuild an astrolabe and heal her home planet. The player must find 16 amulets to rebuilt the astrolabe. Each amulet are hidden in a locked chest. The chest can only be unlocked by solving various mini games.

The classic mode offer four various mode (Zen, Pave, Fit and Tri). Each of those modes bring new complexity in the Strimko logic.

    The game was well received and receive some nice critics from Gamezebo (3.5/5), Jayisgames (4/5) and Softpedia (4.8/5).
