In 1996, Strictly FX was founded by industry veterans Ted Maccabee and Mark Grega. Strictly FX is exclusively a special effects company only interested in working on live performances. The company's work consist of creating a stage and aiding in the performance of the show, including; lasers, pyrotechnics, art design for the entire performance, providing and operating hydraulic mechanisms, etc.
Strictly FX provides their services to over 500 shows every year, including working with Kanye West. Strictly FX has won multiple awards, including; the Parnelli Pyro Company of the Year in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. They've also been awarded the Tour Link Top Dog Award for best Pyro/special effects company in 2012.
