Stopes Point (76°36′S 159°35′E) is the northernmost point on Tilman Ridge, the northwestern arm of the Allan Hills, in Oates Land. Reconnoitered by the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program (NZARP) Allan Hills Expedition, 1964, and named after Marie Stopes, authority on Carboniferous palaeobotany, and hence associated with the geology of the area.
