The Tampere Stockmann department store is Finland's second oldest department store, located in the centre of Tampere. In terms of sales, it is the third biggest Stockmann department store, after the Helsinki centre and Tapiola stores. It moved to its current quarters on Hämeenkatu near the Tampere railway station in 1981.

  • The bottom floor has the Stockmann Herkku food store, ATM and an Alko store.
  • The first floor has a barber's shop, ladies' clothing, footwear and underwear; a kiosk with magazine sales; cosmetics; Robert's Coffee and jewellery.
  • The second floor has men's clothing and footwear, bags and children's clothing and footwear.
  • The third floor has a Fazer Café café-restaurant, domestic textiles, domestic equipment, gifts, glass and porcelain, an Expert electronics store, domestic supplies, sports equipment, plants and bedsheets, customer service point, garden equipment and a currency exchange Forex.

  • 1957, 1965: Stockmann's first "local department store" was opened at Hämeenkatu in Tampere, and significantly expanded in 1965.
  • 1981: The store moved to the other end of Hämeenkatu.
  • 1999-2000: The store expanded significantly and got an entirely new floor of new space.
  • 2014: The store expanded once more again significantly to another building.
