David Stewart Cross (19 December 1928 – 27 December 1989) was the second Bishop of Doncaster who was later translated to Blackburn.
Educated at Trinity College, Dublin, he was ordained in 1955. His first post was as a curate at Hexham. A noted broadcaster, he was Precentor of St Albans Cathedral before his ordination to the episcopate.
