Mounié is a Montpellier HSC youth academy graduate. He made his first team debut on 28 October 2014 in a 2014–15 Coupe de la Ligue round of 32 home match against AC Ajaccio, replacing Jean Deza after 86 minutes; Montpellier lost the match 1–0.
Nîmes (loan)
On 31 August 2015, Mounié was loaned to Nîmes Olympique for the rest of the 2015-2016 season.He was the club's top scorer for the 2015-2016 season, with 11 goals in 33 competitve matches, all of them scored during the 2015–16 Ligue 2 campaign.
Montpellier
