Steve Laury is a contemporary jazz guitarist, arranger, composer, and record producer.

Laury has been playing guitar since boyhood. After moving to San Diego, he founded the jazz group Fattburger in 1983 with Carl Evans and Mark Hunter. After releasing five albums as a member of Fattburger, he left to pursue a solo career. He released his solo debut, Stepping Out, on Denon Records in 1990. His single "In My Dreams" from the album Passion reached the Adult Contemporary/Contemporary Jazz playlists in the early 1990s
