He is currently the Gloucestershire Reporter for BBC Points West based at BBC Radio Gloucestershire. He is also seen on Midlands Today and BBC South Today.
Previously he has worked as a radio presenter and news reader. Knibbs caused controversy when he attempted to answer his mobile phone during a live report about a fatal train accident. An experienced Points West host later described Knibbs's actions as "one of the most unprofessional acts I've witnessed'.
