Steinkjerelva is a 5-kilometer (3.1 mi) long river in Steinkjer, Norway. It forms at the confluence between Byaelva and Ogna at Guldbergaunet and flows through the town of Steinkjer before flowing into Beitstadfjorden, the inner part of the Trondheimsfjord. The river is crossed by four bridges, including one for the Nordland Line and Sneppen Bridge of the E6. The river drains the entire SnÃ¥savatnet watershed, which covers an area of 2,143 square kilometers (827 sq mi).
