Stallion Group is a conglomerate founded in 1969 with headquarters in Dubai. The group is one of the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa. The group has an extensive international presence in 18 countries (As of 2010) with 72 locations and more than 10,000 employees.

Stallion is engaged in commodities, agriculture, automobile assembly, automobile distributorship, food products, industries, FMCG, mining, steel manufacturing, real estate, financial services, technology, logistics and shipping. The group also manages a sole/exclusive portfolio of global auto brands including Honda, Hyundai, Nissan, Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Foton, Jinbei, BAIC, Changan, Ashok Leyland and IVECO.

Operating multiple assembly facilities, the group is involved in the assembly of Nissan, Hyundai, Ashok Leyland, Iveco and Volkswagen branded vehicles. In 2014 the Stallion rolled out the first Nigeria made Nissan vehicle, a Nissan Patrol. Soon after, Stallion released the first made-in-Nigeria Hyundai passenger car. Stallion has also announced the assembly of Volkswagen branded cars.

Stallion group is one of the largest integrated rice value chain operators in sub Saharan Africa.

Amongst others, Stallion was awarded the Thailand Government award for five consecutive years (2010-2014).

THE LEADERSHIP newspaper selected Stallion Group for its “the Company of the Year” in 2014. Stallion furthermore won an award from Hyundai for best sales performance.

Stallion was recognised by Federal Government of Nigeria as the second largest conglomerate in 2014 taking into account the taxes paid, the employment generated, corporate social responsibility and the companies’ turnover.

Stallion Group was awarded as “Best Performer 2014-15, West Africa by world leading automotive group Ashok Leyland.

Stallion Group, has won the 2015 Nissan Global National Sales Company Award for its outstanding achievement in Nigeria.

Stallion Group chairman Sunil Vaswani was awarded the Game changer award by THISDAY for his contribution in Automobiles industry and agriculture.

Forbes ranked Vaswani as the Top Indian Leader in Arab world 2015. Vaswani takes top honours at Indian CEO Awards. Entrepreneur magazine featured Vaswani as a cover story.
