St. Xavier's College of Education, Hindupur, (XVHP), is a coeducational school founded in 2007 by the Society of Jesus for teacher training in Andhra Pradesh.

Purpose and facilities

The Jesuits founded Loyola High School, Hindupur in 1990 and in 2007 on the same campus they founded St. Xavier's College of Education. The principal aim of the College is to provide professional education to students of all religions and communities, while pursuing the Jesuit vision of "forming men and women for others."

The College offers a Bachelor in Education, accommodating 100 students at a time, and includes Loyola hostel. It is a Christian minority school.

Facilities include a library with 3309 books on teacher education, 10 journals, and 20 encyclopedias; 18 computers are available, with internet access. Physical education facilities and courses are also offered.
