St. Paul was established in 1966 and was originally staffed by the Sisters of St. Joseph. Today St. Paul Catholic High School is a thriving school both academically and spiritually.

Athletics

St. Paul has a long and rich athletic tradition dating back to the 1960s in such sports as basketball, baseball, and swimming.

The St. Paul girls' basketball team won the 2009-2010 Class S State Championship. The championship game was played at Mohegan Sun Arena.

The St. Paul boys baseball team won the 2015-2016 Class S State Championship. The championship game was played at Palmer Field.

St. Paul offers over 20 varsity sports.
