History of the institution
St. James Community School is a non-sectarian institution of learning. It was founded in 1986 by Mr. & Mrs. Jaime L. Baltao.
St. James Community School was a family incorporated on January 17, 1986, since its Foundation, It been managed by Mr. & Mrs. Jaime L. Baltao.
In 1995, the owner of the School turned over the management of the school to Mrs. Charito Zapanta- Espiritu continues their services in the school through administration of the institution.
St. James Community School offers Pre-School, Grade School and High School Education. It is co-educational. The institution is recognized by the Department of Education and a member of City of Antipolo Private School and Administrator Association (CAPSAA), Rizal Private Pre- Elementary and Elementary School Association. (RIPPESA) Rizal Private Secondary School Association.(RIPSSA) Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) and Milo Little Olympics.

St. James Community School will endeavor to give quality of education to all levels and make education to all. It maintains and supports a complete, adequate and integrated system relevant to the needs of people and society.

Philosophy
Education is the instrument that develops man and prepares him to develops the country too. Education is preparing the man to know what he must be and do on earth for the sublime and for which he is made.
Every child has certain fundamentals need which must be met. By finding out what basic needs of a child have not been met at home, the school can best made up for these needs. Education therefore plays a major role in the life of a person. If he is educated, he is ( a fairly good chance of being closes to what is beyond opening the key to success A key envelope ) knowledgeable and discuss all the thing around him and even further. Education is yet a lifetime task, the course of learning continues to unfold, the more we know, the more we ought to know. Education as well all know is the key to success. Education as the key helps the teacher open the door-the mind of the learner, toward a passage away that is leading to any bodies goal-success. But isn’t it that education is to every body and so is success? It is dismay to note in our country which boasts of high literary and myriads of graduates still has in the list a big percentage of drop-outs, out – of – school youths, undergraduates and even these bystander graduates. This mere fact gives us insight of the sad condition of the country’s education. How can we call success as such if we can’t share it with others. How can we say we are Doctors of medicine if we keep out eyes open only to those who have the pockets and forget have nones? How can we say we all Doctors of Law, if we have blind hearts to what we call a true justice?
To learn carries a twofold mission. “The Growth of young people” and respond to their legitimate expectations for a sense of direction.
Learning must be a lifetime process. To stop learning is to stop living. Children must not only cope with the demands of their fast moving age, but also with their personal needs as life goes on. Each period of life as its challenges, its “developmental tasks”. In every period of life these are both the new challenges and the teachable moments. These are not only new truths, experience, demands. But also new opportunities to learn. As leaders of the pupils the educators must see the active minds of our pupils as splendid equipment for serious study and for earnest grappling with life's problems. Changes are occurring rapidly in all walked of life. These are due to science and technology that are rapidly in all walked of life. These are due to science and technology that are rapidly advancing in the modern world. They are not just changes in the structure of production but the entire fabric of society as well.
