In 2012, never far from the tatami, Nomis became President of FLAM 91 (Force Longjumeau Massy Alliance), a Judo Club with over 500 licensees. Under Nomis's direction, the club revamped its overall strategy to focus on talent acquisition and talent reconversion. Flam 91 gained world-class judokas, including two world championship gold medallists and two silver medallists. Ranked 10th club in France in 2012, the club ranked 3rd club in France in 2013 and is on the podium of the 1st Division French clubs (winning 5 medals in the 1st Division Championship in Marseille).

Professional career

In 1999, Nomis retired from professional judo and debuted his IT career. After earning a solutions expert certification from Microsoft and working as an IT consultant, he launched Ippon Technologies in 2002, a Java consulting company which has grown to become one of the largest software delivery and product companies in France with over 150 J2EE engineers. The company has diversified its range of services to assist its customers in digital transformation: Ippon Digital develops and integrates digital solutions. Ippon Hosting hosts Java applications and services in the company’s data centers. Ippon Technologies is one of the largest Java consulting company in France with offices in Paris, Nantes, Bordeaux and Toulouse.

A serial entrepreneur, Nomis identified a need for an IT university in Morocco and co-founded SUPINFO in 2007, an accredited university specialising in computer engineering and that delivers Bachelors and Masters of engineering. By 2009, the university expanded and strengthened its presence on three campuses in Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech. Nomis is also responsible for such initiatives as Supinfo Morocco's Training Center and Supinfo's Junior Entreprise.

A philanthropist who leverages his network and entrepreneurial expertise to give back to the community, Nomis has helped many unprivileged youth through judo as well as fellow athlete friends make successful career changes in various sectors, including restoration, cleaning, Internet sales and spas.

In 2013, Nomis branched out to entertainment with La Nouvelle Seine, a premier venue that hosts one-man-shows on a boathouse located in front of the Notre-Dame-de-Paris Cathedral. The venue has hosted acclaimed stand-up comedians, including Jamel Debbouze, Isabelle Alonso and Jango Edwards.

In February 2014, Nomis launched Ippon Technologies USA, a subsidiary of Ippon Technologies, with headquarters in Richmond, VA and an office in NYC.
