Sshakshi Chovan studied at Adarsh Vidyalaya in Pune and Mumbai before graduating with a B.A. degree from University of Pune. She has also completed two professional courses in acting. She started her career as a model in 2010 before moving on to acting Her aunt is also from film industry she did so many Marathi movies and serials. She is known as Marathi Actress Mrs. Sharmila Singh. Not even her aunt her uncle is also work for film industry as an associate director of Prakash jha. Her brother Shekar is assisting Mr. Raju Rueya and she announced her younger brother Adinath is coming soon into Bollywood industry as a producer She has also acted in television serials and short films.
She has worked in films like Making of a Terrorist and Wanted in Tamil and has featured in various social awareness campaigns.
