History
Sri Aravindar Educational Trust was established in 1998 by philanthropists and eminent individuals.

The Trust has been registered as the Sri Aravindar Educational Trust in the Sub Registrar Office Cuddalore with the address No. 5/19A, Subbu Nagar, Koothapakkam, Cuddalore – 607 002. vide Registration No. 207/BK/V/98. dated 09.12.1998
As a first step of the Trust's activities an arts and science college was started on 28 acres of land bought at Akasampet, Vanur Tk., which is at the border of the Union Territory of Pondicherry and 15 km from Pondicherry town. The college was started in 2000 in a rented building at Vanur as Sri Aravindar Arts and Science College.
For administrative convenience the office of the Trust was shifted from Cuddalore to Sedarapet, at Pondy - Mailam Road, Sedarapet P.O. from September 2003.
Then a nursery and primary l school was started as Sri Aravindar Vidhyalaya Nursery and Primary School in 2003.
